Wasn't sure what to expect with the name being Woody's pizza. But they had a lot more than pizza and I asked the waitress if she could make me a Long Island she said she never had before but she would try It was probably one of the best Long Island I have ever had it was fantastic. The pizza was good but nothin special. Would like to go back someday and try some other options. Atmosphere was nice and a lot of room.
I wanted to post an update and say that after some time off we are regular Woody's customers again. The food is and always has been great and the service I had last wrote a review about has not been an issue. Didn't want to leave a harsh review left in the heat of the moment out there forever. Keep up the good work and great food Woody's!
I end up at Woody's every summer I come to Estherville. Yes, there's a Pizza Hut and Godfather's in town, but I'll come here first given a choice. And the folks who bought the place from the Condon family have kept up the tradition, including a nice outdoor deck. There's also something special about tasty thin crust pizza that is cut up in small squares. My last visit was during the Sweet Corn Days weekend. I came with my Brother, Gayle, my Son, and a High School friend. It was also Reunion weekend and various other people I knew were in the Room! Service was excellent, the pizza pies were tasty, and it was great to catch up within a friendly and welcoming home town atmosphere.
Last of the local Pizza restaurants. Family atmosphere. 5 big screen TV's including a 70' over the fireplace. GREAT pizza plus a variety of other items choose from. If your allergic to peanuts - this place isn't for you. Free peanuts with shells on the floor. Very clean and a good staff. Enjoy!
Had a nice meal and drinks with family watching a little football. Great pizza and service. Plenty of toppings and attentive staff.
